Gestern hat sie die Feuertaufe bestanden, nachdem ich eine Woche lang daran rumgebastelt habe, der Originalfarbe so nah wie möglich zu kommen. Der Vintage Look ist natürlich jetzt hin.
I played on it yesterday and it felt great. I think I matched the original colour quite good. But the vintage look is gone of course.

The Backseats Are Back
The Backseats, gegründet am Ende der 1970er oder zu Beginn der 1980er, waren eine eigenwillige kleine Indiepop-Gruppe in wechselnder Besetzung , die sich nach etwa 10 Jahren auflöste, um den gnadenlosen Optimismus der 1990er nicht erleben zu müssen. Jetzt aber sind The Backseats wieder am Start, nachdem ihnen Jahrzehnte lang irgendwelche Bands den Namen streitig machen wollten – und zwar mit einer schönen und frischen Sommerpop-Single.
The Backseats disbanded in 1989 or so. Kingdomes fell and rose. Many things had to happen, until two of the founding members of The Backseats got back to work and produced a sweet Summer pop single. Liksten to it here:

Hier meine Bewegtbilder zur Coverversion des Velvet-Underground-Songs, den ich zufällig einmal in der Liveverion von den Black rows gehört habe. Seither lässt mich der Song nicht merh los. Hier also meine Version davon. Der Film ist ein bisschen experimentell.
Tis is my version of the Velvet Underground song. Some write it with an ! after the Oh! But most people don’t. And I don’t neither. My version was inspired by the Black Crows‘ version of their „Cabin Fever“ film. My video was inspired by Jean Luc Godard The music was recorded in one night session.
